Forage Trials Australia (FTA) Terms and Conditions

Access and use of the FTA data, website and information is conditional on your agreement to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you must not access the website or use any information provided.

1. Disclaimer

You acknowledge that trial results and any other information provided by Forage Trials Australia (FTA) is provided on an ‘as is’ basis and neither FTA nor any of the participants of the program make any representations regarding the completeness or accuracy of the information provided. The information may or may not be appropriate for your individual circumstances and you should make your own enquiries and seek professional advice before utilising or relying on the information in any way. Any and all use of the information is at your own risk and neither the FTA nor any of its participants accepts any liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from any use or misuse of the information. To the extent permitted by law, the FTA and its participants expressly excludes all warranties and guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information contained in the FTA website.

2. Use of information

  1. You must not use the information except as permitted under this paragraph 2 and you must not provide the information to anyone else without FTA’s prior written consent.
  2. FTA grants you a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the information solely for your personal and internal business purposes. This licence may be revoked at any time by providing you with at least 14 days’ notice, in which case you must cease all use of the information on expiry of the notice period.
  3. If you are a member of the FTA, in addition to the rights under paragraph 2(b) above, you may publish or disseminate the results of the FTA forage trials provided:
    1. you have consulted with the FTA Management Committee and obtained its written approval for each type of use of the information;
    2. any approved publication or release of the information agreed to by the FTA Management committee must ensure:
      1. all trial results and related data to be presented in their entirety as they are displayed on the website
      2. all Data presentation to be in line with the Australian Seed Federation code of conduct;
    3. you ensure the publication or dissemination includes the FTA logo in a prominent place and the following acknowledgement:
      “These results were collected to the standards set by Forage Trials Australia. Use of this data is subject to FTA’s terms of use, found here“

This website may contain links to third party websites provided solely for your convenience and does not indicate, expressly or impliedly, any endorsement by FTA. The FTA is not responsible for the content of any linked third-party website.
